================================================

Did you know… that the sculpture “I WAS HERE” (located outside University Culture Centre) has been a commencement feature for over 50,000 graduands? Now you know.

The I WAS HERE sculpture is a travelling installation that has moved locations throughout Singapore. Since its last stop at NUS in 2007, the sculpture has been featured prominently in many a convocation picture and the ritual has become a longstanding tradition amongst the graduands of NUS.

A prelude to our main campaign that aims to raise the awareness of the museum, we have worked together with the NUS Museum to launch the “I WAS HERE” Facebook campaign on NUS Museum’s Facebook page to celebrate the sixth year that the sculpture has been with NUS.

We would like you to share your memories with the I WAS HERE sculpture as we celebrate its sixth Birthday in two simple steps!

Simply post your pictures taken with the I WAS HERE sculpture on the NUS Museum Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/nusmuseum or send in your pictures to museum@nus.edu.sg  with the subject title “I WAS HERE”

What’s more, the top five photos received will stand to win a pair of movie tickets each!

Be part of this student-initiated campaign to keep this tradition going for our future graduating students!
