The Ultimate Frisbee team has attained 3rd after a series of highly competitive matches and the school would like to thank the entire team for their effort and dedication. Go Team NUS!

 

International Exchange Day (IED) 2013

Looking for ways to add more dynamics into  your academic life? Head over to NUS Central Forum on the 5 Sept 2013 and explore the various international programmes that NUS has to offer you! You can learn more about them through interactions with students who have returned from their exchanges and look forward to participating in a wide array of activities.

Yale-NUS College holds inauguration ceremony

The pioneer students of Yale-NUS College inaugurated on tuesday, August 27. Singapore’s President Tony Tan Keng Yam officiated the inauguration ceremony and  was delighted that “the Yale-NUS College is Singapore’s first liberal arts college and also the first campus Yale University has developed outside of New Haven, Connecticut.”

He also stressed that the partnership between both parties goes beyond the liberal arts educational model experienced in the West and that the new model of  liberal arts education will includes elements of Asia.

Student group of the week

OlymNUS

Brought to you by the NUS Student’s Union International Relations Commitee, OlymNUS is a sports contest which provides a platform for the diverse international student community at NUS to interact whilst competing among themselves.

The event aims to connect the multicultural society in NUS through means of spirited sports and games. This initiative hopes to bring players from different countries together and inculcate a sense of team spirit and sportsmanship in them.

OlymNUS 2014 is open for candidates of all nationalities, regardless of any prior experience in sports.

Tentatively, the event would be held on March, 2014 . Sports and games include Futsal, Basketball, Squash, Badminton, Table-tennis, Pool, Cricket and more.
