Profile of performing bands in Vox Flante:
1. Triple Threat Burden
Triple Threat Burden is an eclectic group of performers brought together by their love for music and their common identity as proud FASS (and Tembusian) students, so called because every single member with the exception of Ezra boasts one or more talents aside from their primary role in the band. Austin, for example, can sing, play guitar, bass, piano and some say drums. Even though Ezra is the burden in the band, look out for his soulful (and some say sexy) crooning, which will no doubt leave everyone hungry for more. Triple Threat Burden has varied musical interests but one thing is for certain: they aim to entertain.

3. Mithila Raman
Mithila is a quintessential Cancerian who loves slipping into new roles and meeting new people. She is pursuing a masters in Applied Economics and plays both the data girl and wordsmith in her everyday life. A shopaholic who has sampled the performing arts, literature, sciences and social sciences but is always shopping for more! Born in India, since early childhood, she has had a strong desire to use her voice to entertain. She appreciates music of all genres and draws inspiration from different styles of music. A trained vocalist in classical music, she sings for jollity and to efface monotony!
4. Thunder Buddy
Thunder Buddy (n.)- A friend or object that you keep close when you are nervous about a certain situation that frightens, or anytime there is a literal thunder storm.
Sharing a common love for performing, Amelia and Gerald have amassed varied experiences on the stage, ranging from playing a rock band ( The LaundroMATs!), singing in a cappella groups and even acting in musicals! They recently began collaborating as a duo going back to their guitar and piano roots to interpret their favourite songs topped with irresistible vocal harmonies. They hope that their music refflects their passion and the joy of working as a team — as Thunder Buddies!
Members
Amelia Dizon– Vocalist and guitarist
Gerald Tan– Vocalist and keyboardist
5. The Imaginary Friends
The Imaginary Friends are an all Eusoffian band who got together a year ago and have been playing together ever since. Despite their busy schedules, they cite one secret weapon that allowed them to get things done fast, which is their natural chemistry with each other!
6. Take Two
Formed in late 2012, Take Two are well-known for their infectious guitar riffs and groovy bass lines, playing what they call “indie dance rock”: a blend of eclectic influences ranging from Brit rock to jazz. They often revel that that is the result of being unable to particularly excel at any particular genre but somehow still managing to keep everything intact as a musical package. The band’s earnest vocals also leave audiences clamouring for more, as they belt out harmonies and line after line with heartfelt lyrics.
Together, these five aspiring individuals are united by everything that gets your feet moving and fists pumping; writing songs on the dance floor (probably during Poptart nights at Velvet) with the bedroom in mind.
