Music lovers seeking to broaden your musical horizons, mark your calendars!

The NUS Electronic Music Lab (EML), a collective of performing musicians who compose, perform and promote original electronic music, will be holding its biggest concert to date on 27 September 2014, 8 p.m. at the National University of Singapore University Cultural Centre Theatre.

Titled ElectrOdyssey: Musicology, the concert is a celebratory showcase of the musical works from the artists in the EML collective. Concertgoers can expect a night packed with live performances of original electronic music compositions in various electronic music genres such as trance, dubstep, indie electronica and more.

In addition, ElectrOdyssey: Musicology seeks to bring its audience on a live electronic music journey spanning Singapore’s pop music history. The highlight of the concert would thus be the use of samples from Singaporean pop music and everyday sounds across time – from the 1960s to the present day. All compositions are performed with live VJ-produced visuals drawn from each musical decade.

Throughout this musical journey, ElectrOdyssey: Musicology also introduces exclusive video clips of interviews with local musicians across our local pop music history, thus bringing the local music scene closer to the people.

So come down, immerse yourself and indulge in a night of visual and aural treats. Grab your tickets at: electrodyssey.peatix.com. Standard tickets and early bird tickets are priced at $15 and $12 respectively. Early-bird sale has been extended till 12 September 2014. For enquiries, email electronicmusiclab@gmail.com
or leave a message on the Electronic Music Lab Facebook page.

Will we see you there?
