Exist!
By T.H.E Second Company

Wednesday 5 September, 8pm
UCC Theatre

On September 5, T.H.E. Second Company will be taking to the stage with Exist!.

A branch of the main company (T.H.E Dance Company), T.H.E Second Company consists of young, brilliant dancers from 16 to 29 years of age who hope to contribute actively to the development of Singapore’s dance scene.

Since its founding in 2008, the company has performed at the Macau International Dance Festival 2008 and NUS Arts Festival 2010/2011. With Exist!, a triple bill of the company’s most well-known pieces, they hope to bridge excerpts from their repertoire of works and highlight the issues and challenges that plague our modern society.

Part of the ExxonMobil Campus Concerts (EMCC), Exist! will exhibit a myriad of talents, making it an event you do not want to miss this month. For example, Fuse, by Malaysian Dance Artist Steve Goh, will be accompanied by the choreography of two local artists, Liz Fong and Lee Ren Xin: Scale and Sarcous, and Do You Miss Me?

Thought-provoking and sincere, with narratives revolving around the sheer joy of physical movement to female loss and struggle, Exist! is definitely going to be an unforgettable show.

With free (but limited!) admission to a night of charm and elegance, and a venue only a stone’s throw away from your school, I don’t think you need us to say more.
